...and other click-bait suspicious titles. Now, I didn't make this topic to discuss the newest gold making guide or introduce you to my super-secret method that consists of purchasing all the Raw Bristle Whisker Catfish you can get your hands on.
What we don't talk about is how much of the good stuff, of the big shiny ones we've got & how we obtain them, if we need more. Also, the expectations, how much you'd like to make in an hour, that you'd consider to be worthwhile?

I've 45k gold.
5k in gold, the rest 40k in "assets", these being Primordial Saronite & Cardinal Rubies.
Usually I have plenty of gold to spend, due to my playstyle. Wherever i go, i like to pick up everything, mine nodes if i see them, resell cheap stuff on the AH.
If i need a bit more, I'll try to sell enchants on the AH - some of them are quite lucrative - or sell the enchanting materials themselves.
If I'd like to make gold, if i could make 1000g+ an hour with minimal mental energy spent, I'd consider that to be worthwhile.

I just do all the dailies from The Skybreaker and the Argent Tournament grounds and loot everything from the mobs I kill, each daily gives 20 gold and there is around 20+ quests there so its some easy money that takes around an hour to complete (didnt do the math but the gold is nice).

I always have gold lying around, like 2k-3k and some minor 500-800g on other characters. So in total, it's always around 5k.
