1. The more you're crying and whining , the more people gonna gank. Yes horde and many other people usually use dk max pvp for ganking because its super safe and its annoying. But that's the pvp server. I used to camp bloodelf level 1 zone and kill lowbies who accidentally would go pvp, block the beginner quest with mammoth and other stuff, is that an abuse? Idk, maybe but i had fun there.

  2. Well, crying about it is not going to stop it, if anything those campers will see posts like this and it will motivate them to corpse camp people even more, welcome to the internet, people are going to troll you just for the fun of it. They're camping you just to get a kick out of it. When you go on the forums and cry about it. They win. "well, I'm bored, guess I'll go make some noobs cry."

  3. I actually dont go to starting zones and neither do i kill low lvls when i do go on a rampage.. I kill all you fcking campers again and again until you leave. Thats the difference between us, and you camping low lvls then coming on forum to complain about world pvp at lvl 80 is just a sign of your character...
I had a bad night. I regret my actions. If I were better at PvP I'd what you are doing, which is commendable.

  4. If you haven't learned by now, all you're going to do by posting these things is encourage people to camp lowbies. Yeah, "toxic" whatever whatever. You're turning this into something way larger than it is. People don't bully, rape, and murder each other because they camp lowbies on a WoW private server. The world doesn't suck because people camp lowbies on a WoW private server.

I'm telling you man, if it hurts your feelings that much you might need to take a leave of absence and go get some help.
You're minimizing the impact that gankers have on people. Sure, they may not be psyiopaths in real life, but they're getting their kicks making other people mad, and that's a sign of a sick mind or at least poor character.

And it's not that it hurts my feelings (like a little snowflake, right?) but it justv makes playing a fun game not fun. In these trying, difficult times, WoW is my escape from the horrorshow of real life. It becomes very frustrating when a handful of mean-spirited people take away my diversion. But at least tehy've given me another diversion: posting on the forums. :)

  5. Toxic behavior in Horde and Alliance players needs to stop. I honestly don't expect a single thing will change, but if one person reads this and decides not to camp lowbies because they don't want to be a bully, that can make a difference in a lot of other players experience on this realm.
you're more likely to convince people to log in and do it more tbh. by reacting to it at all, be it ingame emotes, loggin other faction to sent hatemail, or just whining on the forums you just encourage it. the reaction is what many aim for.

  6. Food for thought not a complaint.

This is part of what a WoW PvP server is. Even of retail that happens.
agreed. But I think rather than ignoring it maybe there can some type of silver lining. Some limit to things you know. Like you drive 60 in the 50 but not 70 in the 50 you get what im saying. I think all that players feel is that this monstrosity of a problem should have some type of silver lining maybe not you as a mod or anyone as a player but someone has to be able to make some type of lining. I've gotten used to it and i tend to just sit here and do something else until being able to quest again but you can come to a spot an hour later and the same person will be kill everything with a group of people and its not an interruption whatever whatever it is. At the end of the day after experiencing this for so long I could care less because the problem most likely will never get fixed unless someone as a staff member takes the step to make some type of moderation to the problem. I don't monitoring the problem and stopping it completely I mean put some type limit to things. Can be hard to make a forum that would allow one to post footage of in some cases literally game stopping bull****, and the oh he killed me four times before he left so i can finally quest bull****. I think people can agree that because this is a (Private Server) and not a live/Public server that maybe you can imagine there would be someone willing to put a limit to the bull****. Whether it happens on live/public servers or not.

  7. Been leveling lately in Icecrown and have observed that ganking is getting a bit out of hand, so I thought I'd just offer my opinion. This is a game, and every player should have as peasant as experience as possible. Let me share mine.

Ganking was allowed in retail, and this is a Blizz-like server, so it is allowed here. I get that.

Does that mean that I like ganking? This may be shocking to some, but no, I don't enjoy being one-shot repeatedly by 80s while leveling. Or having to wait for a quest giver to respawn. Sure, the ganker might have fun. Not so much the dozens of 70s in Hellfire Peninsula or Zul'Drak he kills every few minutes. So in terms of fun for all, the net balance is not really that positive. I used to love Zul'Drak in retail. Next time I level, I'll avoid it. It's a pity, because Warmane's devs did a great job scripting it. And forget about doing the arena quests, lately.

Does that mean that I agree with gannking? Of course not, I never thought it should be allowed in retail, and for the same reason, I wish it weren't allowed here. I loved world PvP, when it was actual PvP, not instadeath. But ended up playing in PvE servers to avoid ganking, paying the price of renouncing to world PvP. We don't have an option here, it's a single PvP server. Perhaps the war mode enabled in BfA or something discouraging ganking a little bit could be done.

And ganking is getting out of control in Icecrown. Because of the high population, and the potential for a single ganker to ruin the fun for lots of lowbies, it's becoming *far* more prevalent than it was in retail.

So even if you argue in favor of replicating retail's experience, keeping the same rules under different circumstances doesn't guarantee the same end result.

Would love some healthy world PvP, but being ganked just sucks. It ruins part of the fun for the majority of players leveling. Simple as that.

Then again, just my humble opinion.

  8. The ganking in Valiance Keep is ridiculous. My alt's NPC was missing and suddenly I had a Horde 80 Rogue ganking me. This is not fun, waiting and waiting for NPCs to respawn, hoping the rogue has left and isn't just going to fo it again. I've said it before, ganking is toxic behavior, and people who enjioy ganking are sick. I can't begin to imagine the thouight process of someone who laughs atv other's pain. Sick, sick, sick.

Update: I was able to turn in the quest... and then a different Horde player killed me and the NPC. This is intolerable.

  9. Im not a type of player that likes to gank lowbies, but everytime I see post like this with "Its toxic!" and "Its unfair" I have big urge to go on an killing spree in out or north.

Everything that You don't agree with is toxic, all the things that You agree with is fair. That so short-minded attitude.

Im leveling horde/alliance char every 2 months cause I like IT and the camping isn't even 1/10 as bad as ppl on forum crying about it. Change place. Take break. Farm gold for FM. Outsmart/outrun other. Hide. Just get over IT and do quest, its x7, after 3hours You'll leave this location and never come back again. Unless, You will return to slack lowbies :)

  10. I don't u derstand the urge to go out and gank lowbies because someone is pointing out how cruel it is. Your reaction to cruelty is to be cruel? You're allowed to be compassionate in an anonymous online game.

you're also allowed to not give a **** about others.

edit: i've also decided to log in and kill some lowbies. so congrats, you're causing the very thing your against.

  12. Cause I don't get IT serious. Im playing a bit, killing some lowbies, doing other stuff, getting bored, loging off and keeps living normalny. After all, its just a game, WHO cares?

Its not connected with being annonymous in web, I don't like crybabys in real life as well :)

You are colling IT cruelty? Cause Ive killed You in a video games? ^^ You are all just to serious about this. In the end, noone forces You to Play.

This is the food for thought I should have just deleted mine now.

  14. Judging from all your past reply's on post you love to complain and give a **** about how much ganking on an extreme level is ok and shouldn't be a problem. I wonder what a person you are. Look at your past post replies and what not maybe you should be the one to stop complaining about how its perfectly fine to go the extreme. Go and read purabasura666 reply and try to understand something for once. That right there is a great explanation to how people feel. I genuinely feel entitled to say things i shouldn't.

Are these words for me? If yes, well:
    1) im not saying its fair, cause its not. But its allowed. And IT brings joy for some people, do I see no problem here.
    2) Ive read all posts. So first, this is great generalization - is it really how majority of people feel, or is it just how some crybabies on forums feel? Second, even if it really bothers and hurts some people, Its Your problem, not my. Im playing game according to rules, nothing wrong here. Its clearly Your decision if You want it, Play other games or don't Play at all. Playing video games is not mandatory.
    3) Just because something "Hurts" You or You don't agree with it doesn't make Your opinion right.

Honestly in my opinion You are making people that are ganking othets bad. They are not, they are just playing the gamę the way they like it, and its legit. If You dont like it, well, maybe You are the problem, not them.
