So how do i get invited into raids when everyone requests achiv link and 5.5+ gs

  2. Normaly people are more leniaent to alt runs, I recomend you start there. Or make your own.

    I feel your pain.

Once you get fully equipped from the best RDF dungeons HC and normal, I'll give you some options.

1° - You can enter in a guild and try to make some icc10 and toc25 runs there. TOC25 do have some potential to increase GS a little bit depending in your gear.

"DV" - death veredict is a strong trinket and as unholy it would be nice to have it, with the TOC5 normal trinket. You can "blur" your toc5 gs trinket with the needle encrusting one that drops from POS hc i think, but once you get inspected/start dpsing you should get ur toc5 nm one. Piryte infuser from ulduar is also decent.

2° As the other friend said, you can start your own pug run. Or, you can try to find people that are desperated to use icc10 cooldown before raids reset and join them as well. You'll notice some people asking for ppl to kill 1-4 bosses. Usually they kill it until "Lootship/gunship HC" and/or Deathbringer Saurfang. Try to stick with those at start, they usually don't require high gs neither achievment.

3° Also, you can do weekly quest from Violet champions in Dalaran like "FLAME LEVIATHAN MUST DIE", VoA10 and VoA25 for EoF. W/ EoF you can manage to buy some EoF gear and increase a little bit your GS.

VoA25 can drop sanctified T10 too.

4° There are a few BoE's that you can buy too, altho those might be expensive sometimes, if you are frost you can buy the woodyn necklace (you can have 1 or 2 items that gives agility, even being unholy, its eh, 'ok', critical strikes).

Raging Shoulders, plate one i think is BoE too.
Ring of Rotting Sinew is a STR Boe ring.
Reputation ring from icecrown citadel is another option since it gives high amount of gs and its great.

5° I'm assuming you are DPS and with 5.1k gs you might achiev 5k constant dps at least or a little more maybe. Try learning RS10/RS25 mechanic, and manage to enter in RS10 or 25 so you can grab achievment. After you have RS10/25 achievment and knowledge, maybe you can join more runs like this. You can also increase your gear here.

Make sure to have DBM (deadly boss mode) addon. Helps alot, save lives.

6°If you are tank, stick to EoF gear (belt, cloak, trinket corroded, chest, gloves) and try to buy or craft (Blacksmith recipe) the ICC Legs, Pillar of Might and ICC Feet recipe, Kingly Upheveal. Make sure to be at def cap (540+ altho ppl suggest 560 for icc as far as im concerned) and spam some stamina on your gems. You'll probably want to be capped at expertise/hit too, dont forget parry/haste thing.

You'll use 4 t10 sanctified hc pieces, but until you get that, you'll need those to keep farming icc and ruby sanctum.

    Good luck mate.

  4. I would suggest joining "progression guild" that fits your raid time and day, so you can attend, tough if you have learned your spec and boss mechanics(and I don't mean watched one video) you can easily get into higher guilds. Everyone needs players who can read and gearing you up wont be a problem. Also you have to know how to gear up your toon(boosting GS for EoF's while you dont even have T10 will diminish your chances to get into good guild - it's a noob move).

As far as pugs go - its cancer across the board, always was, always will be.

    TLDR

Read all the guides about your spec, know your spells, stat caps and what gear to go for.
Read a bunch of tactic guides and read boss spells and understand what you are supposed to do according to tactic that your group uses.
    Have food/flasks/potions.
Learn from your mistakes, which usually comes from not "catching" boss doing stuff in game when you know theoretical part of what to do. (use addon like DBM that shows boss spell timers)
Be on time for guild raid.
Be able to at least listen to raid leaders on Discord or whatever they use.

That's it, now you just progress and farm.
