I'm a brand new player, why are queues so high all of a sudden?

I first started playing yesterday and there were never any queues but now its at 500+. Is there something special going on rn?

I started playing at around 6 pm saturday and there were no queues, are you sure there isn't something special going on right now or something like that?

I'm going to assume this is about Lordaeron realm. Yes, even that realm has queues occasionally now thanks to all the new players but unlike Icecrown queue, it moves. Yesterday I was 765 position on Lordaeron and got in within 20 minutes so don't worry about it too much, its quick and won't bother you too much. :D

great, now the game is giving me connection errors every time i try and log in and it keeps resetting my video settings every time i close the game :(

Remove WoW from torrent, move it away from a default location, then right click WoW folder, go under properties and remove read-only.
