WotLK Settings reset after exit the game

HI all,

I have the problem that everytime i exit the game, the next time i start it, the settings are reset to the standard.

So grafik settings are back to low, resolution back to the smaller one etc.
Also, what i can not set is the game in windowed mode. Everytime i set it, i just get a black screen, mouse courser (the hand) and the sound is the only thing which is still running.

can someone help me?

Follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"

Thanks, that worked :) But i can still not play in windowed mode :/

But thats not a big deal.
