1. Bots are legal in warmane?

so i reported 3 mining bots like a week+ ago with a solid proof (a video), and the game master said he'll look into it, so far they still here, now considering how active they are in kicking dungeon and raid ninjas and racists with some "game disturbing" ppl , apparently they ignored my complain, now to make things worst, there is 2 new bots in my mining location, so in total i found 5 bots pretty damn easily, not to consider the bots in AH, so if nothing being done with it, i should consider boting as a legal matter and i should get me a mining bot? what is going on in the game? it wasn't like this when i left half year ago

  2. Well, if they checked proof they probably weren't bots. People running from AH to mailbox every few hours isn't botting unless they move in the exact path every time. If they were fishing bots you should've proven that they are indeed fishing bots. For example, death gripping them as a DK away from the fishing pool and them going AFK without moving would imo prove that they're botting.

It all depends on what you recorded.

  3. i recorded them bots connect when mine vain appear, mine it, and disconnect, its not my job to sit and record each bot for half hour, my job is to report only, if the warmane ppl don't realize how serious the issue is, it will be to late soon. in 2 weeks 5 bots appeared! its warmane server and they responsibility to investigate reported bots with minimal proof as mentioned above. ofcourse i made my one solution, i created a dk character for each side to move or kill all the 5 bots in my mining spots(which works perfectly but have to waste 5 min on each cuz they spawn when the vain appear). but hell i gonna waste more time recording them.

  4. And how do you imagine this looks to them? "I recorded a guy who logged in to mine and then went off".
That's not a proof of botting. If you don't care to record them properly why should they bother wasting time on a more than possible false flag? It's their responsibility to view and inspect the report but it's your responsibility to make it valid.

  5. To expand a little on what Thorbjorn says, GMs receive just too many reports to deeply investigate each and every one of them that comes with vague evidence. They would never deal with the good reports if they spent hours investigating the flawed ones.
