WotLK Help with transmog

Hello everybody.

I wanted to transmog a cool eyepatch on my ret pally ( https://classic.wowhead.com/item=117...efury-eyepatch ) but I was soon remembered by the game that I could only transmog leather to leather and plate to plate.

So I have some question to you guys, hoping that you know more than me:
- Do you know if a plate equivalent exist? (a quick search on wowhead told me that it doesn't, but you may never know)
- If it doesn't, can "cosmetic" headgear be transmogrified to any armor class? (something like https://www.wowhead.com/item=34827/nobles-monocle )
- If cosmetic can be used, do you know if any cosmetic eyepatch exist?

My googling skills suggest plate variation doesn't exist.
Also, you can't tmog "cosmetic" items.
