Players using 3rd party softwareto detect certain spells

Hello there,

I've playing my rogue in PVP the past 2 weeks and noticed some odd behavior by some players.

Within only 2 weeks, I noticed serveral players immediately casting a certain counter-abillity when I used one of my abilities.

Example 1:

I left a BG, was teleported back to OG and used my stealth. The hunter right next to me immediately popped his flare on the ground exactly where he stood. Kinda strange if you ask me.

Examle 2:

I shadow stepped a hunter (while stealthed ofc) - immediately popped deterrence. He didn't even know I was there since I was stealthed and his deterrence popped faster than any of my abilities. Kinda strange if you ask me.

Example 3 (happened today):

Again shadow stepped in stealth - this time on a priest. Immediately used holy nova to break my stealth.

Example 4 (with my low lvl warrior):

Used charge on a hunter - he immediately used feign death and disengage and ended up avoiding the 1.5 sec stun



All of this happened within only 2 weeks of PVP - many strange things going on here. I mean how is it even possible to pop a counter-spell to my abilities within a few milliseconds?! A normal reaction time would be at least 0.5-1 sec.

Yes, people are scripting (or just call it what it is, plain simple cheating) and more people are using it every day, it's against Warmanes rules and they are banning people who are doing it, sadly it's hard to prove and the anti cheat system does not detect it.
Healers in arenas have a really hard time to counter scripters (cheaters) since they get silenced 0.01 (+,- the Latency lagg) sec after started to cast a heal, so even "Fake casting" doesn't work, and the "cheaters" can tunnel whatever target while the "cheat program" swap targets for them and silence their partner instantly.

Yep, there are many scripters, especially from blackrock, they don't care about ban, cause easy to do another insta geared character.
I think blackrock shouldn't be allowed to play with icecrown and lorderon people, they have nothing to lose and can cheat all day long.
Look at counterstrike, when it was at least for 5-10$ it was not so bad with cheaters, when they gaved it for free on steam, cheaters stormed servers, its plague now.

Actually there are even more things I didn't mention so far.

When I play PVP on my priest, I see melee DPS (feral druid, warrior, rogues) running in perfect circles around me while attacking me. By doing so, they get a very decent chance, my Vampiric Touch spell does not hit, because they are not in front of me. This is just ridiculous

It's not only blackrock, a lot of ice player use it. And there are scripts for healer too.

Pathetic. And they merging Lordaeron and Frostmourne players who put the effort with these guys...

There are no relation with rate or servers. When you bring competition (ranked, ladder or oher) in games, cheaters, scripters, abuse,.... appears just to prove how there are above other player (look at cs, valorant, lol,....). Wotlk is old so the security is equal to zero futhermore it's private server. Players found the most broken "meta" 7 years ago (war/hpala) but competition continue. People become lazy and tired so how to be competitive without learning, and less efforts? you have the answers. (futhermore when you can gain money, it's really attractive to cheat, script)

That why in game you have patch. To break the meta. In this server when you ask to change something, it's no. To much works for dev (futhermore they trap themself with shop and premium) and the players answer "it's not blizzlike", "go to wod, cata".

Cheating in games has been a thing since before computers, same with being punished for cheating. We, and I'm sure pretty much everyone else, would appreciate it if you reported them.

Unless things are being handled vastly different in arenas then that is not how that spell and many others work. I've been applying VT, DP and SWP on targets behind myself for years. Even hopped on about 5 minutes ago and applied dots to a training dummy and then did an RBG where I dotted a player.
