Hi,
I want to start playing on a wotlk server, and I need to decide between this one and sunwell and I hope you guys can help me decide.
How happy are you with this server? What are the biggest problems in your opinion? I've seen that this server has a huge population, are queues a problem?

Yes ques are a problem, unless you throw 10e. If all the conspiracy theories is to be believed Warmane makes artificial ques and just scoops up all they moneyy, literally prints it. Also if payers are to be believed you will sit in a que 10hrs and evil Warmane dude will pull huge level with your name on it somewhere in Storm Peaks, in to the mountains, and you will get insta disconnected, thrown back to start and wait another 10hrs que.
Also literally everyone uses scripts for PVP its uplayable, absolute menace.
Of coarse there are, according to last metrics on forums, 407 bots in each zone clikcing on those damn saronite ores. Those crazy AH bots, not gona even talk about those, they will undercut you in 0.0001 second.

oh yea, multiboxers are just wild, every BG is like multiboxer vs multiboxer,they dont even attack eachother, they go to camp graveyard to kill that one dude who got lost and ended up in BG.
Ganking is a thing also, if all the hard evidence and facts on forum posts are to be believed behind every tree there is lvl80 DK just waiting all day to kill that 34lvl dude who took the wrong zeppelin. And he just keeps killing him, and that guy ressurects, types /hi and walks up to him real friendly, but that DK is toxic as hell, just keeps slaying.
Idk what else.
almost forgot, lichurally everyone has Shadowmounre, you just get out of your POS farm, que BG and then instantly there are 3 dudes with shadowmourne oneshotting you. I mean, thats pretty unfair, you cant just play 4 hrs and start to slay, thes damn scripters with donated shadowmounres who play 6 years stright just kill you, wth probably a bug.Edited: April 19, 2020

Which Server are we talking about? Lordaeron? Icecrown? Frostmourne? Blackrock?
If you plan on playing without donating I'd suggest Lordaeron. It's the 1x rate Server on Warmane, meaning you gain XP and profession skill levels the way it was back in retail. I'd also think that Lordaeron is a more balanced Server because people have to earn their gear and can't just buy it on the Warmane store.
If you're looking for a more fast paced experience with the possibility to buy gear and other goodies, Icecrown is the way to go. It's Warmanes 7x rate Server and the one with the highest population. I would not recommend it if you don't plan on donating to skip queues.
If you want a fresh progressive Server that's currently working its way up to the endgame raids while also having increased rates, then Frostmourne is probably the way to go. Although, I didn't really get myself into it and others might be able to give you a better view on this one.
If you're up for the quick PvP experience without having to level your characters, Blackrock is what you're looking for. Instant level 80 with decent PvP gear to start off with. No PvE content available though.
Also, all the Servers except Frostmourne(correct?) are connected in PvP via Warmanes crossrealm BG technology. Means you can encounter players from all 3 realms while participating in PvP activities.

The biggest problem is a bit toxic PuG community, but I'm toxic myself so I feel at home.
I also wish there was a PvE realm, cuz ganking is crazy is some zones, other than that it's fine, if you're not tryhard you'll have a good time here.

Very unhappy. To the point that I plan to give everything away and delete the account very soon. I'm done.
It was fun for a while. But the rampant amount of scripting and cheating has rendered it no longer enjoyable.
I was hopeful for some changes. Some policing of the offenders. I lobbied for this extensively. Tried to report the scripters. Nothing has been done.
So on to greener pastures I go.

Rampant amount of people being better than you is no longer enjoyable. Since Molten was rebranded into Warmane I've yet to see a single scripter/hacker you claim to be in great numbers. Delete it faster pls.

Very unhappy about Frostmourne. Warmane devs updated WotLK core some years ago and released Lordaeron with it, which was very good scripted and almost no bugs at all. I was expecting the same on Frostmourne but it seems they're not using that new core becase you find bugs that had been fixed long ago (speaking in years ofc). Some of them make instances impossible with the gear the playerbase can earn atm.
