WotLK Deleted characters on Icecrown?

I used to play WOTLK on Icecrown and I stopped around July 2017. I decided to check what's happening there again and I saw that all my characters have been deleted. I had a 80lvl boomie and mage, both above 6k gear. I have my two factor authentication on and I received a couple of times emails to confirm that I am logging in (it was not me) so I changed my password a few times just to keep my account safe. What happened to my characters and how can I get them back?

Did you check in game or on website?

I checked both in Armory for any of the nicknames I had and in the Services tab in my account in the website. Still haven't checked online since I recently reinstalled my PC and don't have WOTLK on it.

Most likely they've been flagged for a rename due to inactivity and you won't see them on the website until you log in the game and rename them.

Also, if the authenticator email you got for was in game, it means someoen guessed your username, not necessarily the password. As the game checks the authenticator first when the username is correct.
