WotLK IP Ban for Advertising

Please help! So last night i was on my lvl 80 paladin and i was in stormwind posting in trade "WTS lvl 80 paladin with SHADOWMOURNE, 280 flying and any max profession of your choice for only 120 coins! warmane requires 150 coins to sell characters with this wep but i will max any profession of your choice or gift 30 coins back after purchase". Im not trying to sell my character for IRL money, im simpily trying to get my coins back for a character i DIDNT EVEN MEAN TO BUY! Now my IP has been banned for advertising and my account has been closed. but i havnt broke any rules! i read the terms of service and as long as you say your trading your character through the warmane site then it is allowed to be posted in-game. Now i didnt specifically say "I AM SELLING THROUGH WARMANE SITE" but i did say for coins which is only possible through warmane! there are countless people posting characters for sale in trade chat i never would of dreamed i could get PERMANENTLY banned for this petty litte offense not to mention its my first time ever doing something wrong, and i wasnt even aware i was doing anything wrong. i see characters multiboxing and botting and they get a 2day suspension and i get my IP and account banned permanently?????? iv spent close to 1000$ and countless hours lvling nearly 10 character to lvl 80. Can someone please help me out. i have no idea how to contact anyone from warmane because im banned from even making a ticket.

Use support system on website here to make a ban appeal. If you can't access it, you can send an email to [email protected] instead.

What you did should not be bannable as advertising. It's either the new bot that bans for advertising, someone else could have accessed your account and advertised something or someone has been advertising from the same IP. From what you wrote, gifting back coins after character trade is not allowed and could be bannable, but that would not be called advertising.

thank you so much for your reply. i emailed [email protected] explaining my situation and hopefully it gets resolved. really blows this had to happen for christmas and i dont get a chance to go kill the Grinch. i even got on my bros computer and account and found him and everything lol. **** man..

So I have gotten banned for jokingly saying "wts 5g 1k coins" AS A JOKE and warmane has banned me for that and I have been on this server for 5+ years.
