1. Ban explanation

I'd like to ask why i have been suspended for 5 days. The reason i got from GM was "ninja looting in dungeon", which has never happended. There was only one case where i needed an item and a player told me that i am gonna get banned for ninja looting the item i needed. To avoid that I wanted to give him back the item, even tho i didn't have to cuz i also needed it. He cancelled trade number of times. The situation happened on Icecrown server, my nick is Alus.

  2. If you needed an item not meant for your spec or class you ninja looted it. Whether you wanted to give it back or not was clearly irrelevant as the person wanted to teach you a lesson more than he wanted the item.

  3. ok but if I'm in dungu and I win item item for my class but another person wants to report me for a ninja, because he thinking that my item is better (even though they give different bunuses)?

  4. Imo ninja looting band should be reserved for either raids or a situation in rdf where a player is continuously needing on everything he can need on, regardless of stats. It sounds like the OP probably didn't realize an item wasn't good for him, but a one time offense like that shouldn't give a 5 day ban.

  5. Should be even more than 5 days if you ask me. Losing an item to a ninja looter or to someone who doesn't even know what item is good for his class and/or spec after farming it for several days or even weeks, can be really frustrating. It's really simple. Read Server rules and know what you actually need or don't need.

In that case you wouldn't be banned. You won an item for your class which you need. It's safe to assume you needed the other stats on it more than the ones you currently have, say you need hit rating chest over the one with crit you already have.
