may i know how are arena ratings calculated?

I notice that when i lose a game on 3v3 solo queue... it doesnt seem to deduct my arena ratings? it doesnt even seem to consider that game as 'played' as i have played over 20 games but only 4 games are counted.

is that normal? i googled and it seems u lose arena rating (not points ) when you lose.

i won my first game then my rating goes to 49... then i lost like 17 in a row. nothing seems to negatively impacted. my rating still 49. then i won 3 in a row then it goes up to 200 like that
