X-53 Touring Rocket Disappointment

So I bought an X-53 the other day to travel with alts on my 2nd account.
I have the love rocket and it's usable in Azeroth, so I hadn't thought the X-53 wouldn't be either...
Nope, can only use X-53 in Outlands or Northrend, very disappointing!!
I was happy to support Warmane, but very unhappy with the rocket.
Any chance this will ever get usable in non-flying in Azeroth?

They won't change a mount because you didn't do your googling beforehand.
