Okay so,i have just come back from retail in order to play a real expansion on a really nice server(int erms of scripting that is).I have played on retail for the past 7 years and before that i have been playing on old Molten for 3 years before choosing to switch and try "the real deal".I remember that when i chose to switch sides back then,people were enjoying the game and the ocasional "chillin" and maybe even some trolling in dungeons.The community even though it was full of noobs(i dont know the situation now) was way more understanding to each other and felt mostly nice to get around with.
As of rn i don't have 2 weeks since i came back and i already met 3 people saying "report" on stuff like : not giving buffs in dungeon and asking for 10 gold for a buff(up untill the first boss when you would ofc buff everybody because you are not a ******,you are just trying to ease the atmosphere),saying N*G*(which wtf is no insult...and even if it is freedom of speech should allow you to do whatever you want unless you promote something bad to individuals that can't think for themselves-like terrorism),and most hillarious of all,stuff like saying "this Fuc***g [insert nationatlity here] doesnt speak english".I mean,the server is an english-operated so it is more than normal to get frustrated when somebody would just act like he doesnt even care on learning a basic international language(let alone the fact that some people for some reason believe YOU should know to speak their forgotten language or something)Is it just me or people have become more and more focused on actually hurting others rather than playing their own games?
And i have a question for you guys and i am lf for your oppinions:Why do you think moderators have come to give so much atention to those people?On one hand i understand that there has to be equality amongst all the inhabitans of one game regardless of nationality/religion etc,but arent they "afraid" they would lose their english-talking player's support if they give attention to literally EVERYTHING somebody from another nationality gets annoyed about?
For example i have never seen an english speaking individual report a foreign language speaker because they won't understand what the first ones are saying,but i have seen numerous times english talkers getting reported by those "foreign communities" because they would simply talk english(an international language and the language under which server is operating) and not understand what the lattest were saying in their own weird language.
IMHO there should be a rule that all talking on general/say/yell should be done in english and only whispers and guild chats/parties should be able to be written in any language(or the admins should stop giving so much attention to people who can't or WON'T want to type in the language the server is uperating upon and their complains about "racism").
What do you guys think?Are people becoming more and more focused on other priorities rather than playing the game?Are admins trying 2 much to please "foreign" people and communities?Is this server full of some manny communities that it's no longer an english-international one but has become and amalgamate of nationalities?

Concept is that every system builds up and crumbles under its own weight eventually. All the ninja rules, disrupting gameplay(bruh it's a PART of the gameplay), idk what's next, but I guarantee there will be more rules in the future. It is even insulting that staff think that players themsleves cant deal with ninja looters or *******s as it was intentionally designed. Road to hell is paved with good intentions bla bla and all that shebang. That created "plis ban" culture, why bother to put an effort if you can just print some screens and papa will take care of it?
As for your problems, find people to play with in language you prefer. It is pretty dumb to expect everyone to be on board with your stupid jokes and stuff. I guess just a troll post, but I took the bait anyway.

From what I've seen so far in Facebook/Reddit it seems that those gingers are becoming more and more vocal by the day and it will continue like that for some time and after that, they like you said, will get crushed by their own creation :)

Oh boy, theres so many things to address in your post I don't even know where to start, but I'll give it a shot.
First of all, your humour is very questionable to say the least. If I was black and you called me the N-word because you think it's funny, I'd report you instantly for racism. Why? Because it is racism. Freedom of speech doesn't give you the right to insult people left and right, even tho you might think it is funny, which it really isn't. You'd receive a ban in pretty much any game / community / forum / whatever there is for saying stuff like that. Yes, that also includes retail WoW. This isn't anything new, just common sense.

Next up we have you talking about other languages as 'forgotten' which again implies a hate towards people from other countries and their language. Once more I shall say that this is common sense and really is questionable. You are talking about being 'chill' and focusing on the game instead of hurting others, not being able to see that the things you say might hurt people in the first place.
How exactly would such a ban look like? '30 day ban for speaking English!'? I highly doubt that something like that ever happened and I would love some evidence which you can't provide since you can't even see or read any reports made in the first place. So let's try to keep it realistic. You talk about nationality and english language like it's superior to everything else on this planet. Also, the way you address this and talk about 'foreign communities' (what the hell?) also leaves me with a bad aftertaste and sounds kind of racist, atleast to me.
Luckily, you are not the one to make the rules here and you never will be. If you get any complaints about being racist, well...you do the math.

Actually it does, it also allows to be racist as much as you want. With no consequences from any law, however there will be consequences in social terms. But I agree with general idea since we obey the Warmane rules instead of some freedom of speech. In my country people have actually gone to jail for saying words, to me that seems really ****ed up and I see it expanding with every day. Only place I know where you can truly speak your mind is USA, at least for a time being. Different places, different rules.
And also I think it's racist that you think that black person would get offended by some words, that shows how low you think of them and makes you racist, off to jail with you. See how that works?

Cheers!"-you so boldly assume i am from England or something yet you are totally mistaken.I am from a minor country without huge importance which uses a "forgotten" language as i might call it who just happens to have learned english because and only for the fact that it is an international spoken language and i wanted to be able to communicate with others,not look like a total monkey,and thanks to God,i had the means to learn English...so yeah,excuse me but i am very proud of my grammar giving the fact that it is my second language.

If I catch anyone dropping the n-word, I'll call them out on it. It doesn't matter whether you're saying it because you think it makes you look cool or if you're using it in a derogatory manner; the word is rooted in racism. You have to be a immensely socially-inept edgelord to defend your right to say it as a non person of color.
I'm not sure what it is about the people that play on this server, but I've see racial slurs thrown around so casually on multiple realms and factions, and by people from numerous different countries. I understand that some people doing so have just never been confronted before and never had someone explain to them why it's impolite to do that, but I feel no remorse for getting people banned that are doing it to hurt other people or are trying to assert a right to casually throw around a racial slur. The fact that a racism is only a 5 day ban is laughable in my opinion.
The problem about not having standards and letting every milquetoast with a room temperature IQ have an equal voice to everyone else is that it allows for a dedicated and outspoken minority to drown out the sound of reason.
Smart people may just choose to add people using racial slurs to their ignore list / guild blacklist. However, if no one steps up to call that person out, they will feel emboldened and get more brazen with their speaking; that might encourage more people to start behaving that way, because they feel like everyone is okay with it.Edited: May 17, 2020

Smart people don't have to put anyone in ignore list, they understand intent under words. They feel like everyone is ok with it? No, circle of people around them who are okay with it will get smaller and smaller with every day until they yell their slurs alone in Trade chat.
This line of thinking just shows how little you think of people and you don't know the basic truth that every person knows something that you don't and only place where this "not letting them speak" will lead is people being afraid to speak their truths in case it offends someone.
