Technical Stolen account

Hi guys. Today I want to address account email address changing and why it's important that the staff implements more security measurements towards it, to avoid account stealing.

I had an account named "darkportal". My email is "[email protected]"

I tried to log in today and my password was incorrect. I checked my email and found an email stating my account email address had changed. Basically, someone claimed it was their account and went away with it.

I remember which characters I had and everything. I've screenshots of the account creation. The account is mine.

It surprised me how easily someone can claim someone else's account as their own, and the warmane staff will give it to them.

Anyway, just think about it, guys. Now it was me, but it could be any of you. And if we don't see the email, our accounts are gone. Not all of us are constantly checking our emails.

My suggestion is that, instead of automatically changing the account when someone claims it, ask for security information. Like, when was the last time you logged on, what characters you had on the account, which was your email address, what year did you create your email on, etc. Even just a link of confirmation to ask if it's really you who's asking for an email account change, like first allowing the change.

Hope they do something.

You sure someone just didn't learn your password and logged in and changed it? As that's what that email sounds like
