    Which professions should i pick?

    Hey guys,

about 2-3 weeks ago i started playing WoW and created my first char ever (Orc Warlock).
I've hit 80 like 3-4 days ago and i didn't level my professions at all while I was leveling my char.
Now i must choose 2 professions and I'm really racking my brain which professions I should pick.
Of course Tailoring is a choice to go because I can only wear Cloth Armor, but I don't know what I should pick as second profession.
I heard a lot peoply say that enchanting pairs well with tailoring but I also heard skinning is better.
I hope you can help me to decide which professions I should go for. Maybe some that pair well with Dungeons because I'm spamming a lot of RDF.

    Thanks ;)

If you are just looking to make money I would recommend picking up some gathering profession(s), herbing, mining and skinning are all good money makers and you can pick up any two of those to make some quick money.

If you want to get your professions to enhance your current character and make some passive money then Tailoring / Enchanting work well together.
Tailoring is probably the cheapest / easiest profession to max (cloth drops like crazy). You can disenchant every green you make while leveling tailoring to help level your enchanting up. By having high tailoring you will also get extra frostweave cloth from dungeons and other stuff in northrend and having enchanting means you can DE any drops from dungeons as well.

Tailoring will give you a nice cloak enchant + leg enchants and enchanting will let you enchant your rings for extra spell power.

    Hey

    1. thanks for the help
    2. Actually im doing a lot of questing now because I want to get my reputation up. With my professions I want to enhance my character. Would tailoring/enchanting still work for questing?

    thanks :)

  4. Hey,

tailoring and enchanting is definitely a good choice for Warlock. However, if you're a new player and don't know much about the economy and proffesions, I would recommend taking herbalism, mining or skinning for simple gold farming. As you get to know more money making methods and/or get enough gold, you can switch the gathering proffesion for something more beneficial like enchanting, engineering or jewelcrafting.

If you want to stick with tailoring / enchanting, you can easily level up both proffessions by clearing low level instances, dissenchanting all drops. You can definitely make gold with these 2 proffesions, but some research must be done.
