/Icecrown/ Gearing a "fresh" 80level

I'm curious how can i gear a character thats around 3.3k gs atm, when no body is willing to give a chance to a low geared player. I can't even get in Fos/Pos NM.. RDF NM que is awful long.. Whats going on in Icecrown ? Even guilds have extremely high demands for players to recruit.. 6k+ wtf ?

Any ideas? Any tips? Am I doing it wrong or ?

If you think you can do FOS/POS then make your own group. Make it a 3.3k minimum, get players with similar gear and do it.
As soon as you can queue for RDF HC you should. Farm EOTs as fast as you can for T9/245offsets/trinket maybe.
Also, check AH for cheap items for your class. Holy paladin waist was insanely cheap last time I played, cloth spirit shoulders also were pretty cheap. Other ilvl200 items can be found from time to time for a few hundred gold.

Looks like you're focused on PVE gearing, but some PVP gear might still be upgrades for you. Farm 10 losses in arena each week will net you 261 points. You need 440 to 770 points plus some honor for Relentless (ilvl 251) pieces. Participate in as many Wintergrasp as you can. You can get up to 10k honor per win. Spend honor on Wrathful off set pieces. The Wintergrasp marks might also get you something decent (shoulders, trinkets, etc.), but these take some time to farm and may not be worthwhile. Do VoA as soon as you can. Those guys don't care as much if you stack PVP gear.
