    Easy class for PvP

Hey guys i was wondering is there any class which is easy in PvP ? I know that will someone say that i should choose class that i like, but there is problem because i am really indecisive and i tried almost every class and eveyone is fun for me... I never played PvP before so that is the reason why i want to choose easy class to learn mechanics of other classes and see how PvP actualy works. The only thing that i want with my PvP class is to be a bit tanky..

And yea i want to focus mostly on 1v1 and BGs
Not really arena but i want to try it

    Retri Pala or Unholy DK.
If you want caster I find ShadowPriest the most "noobfriendly"

  3. Ranged dps is easiest by far. So long as you follow strong melee + healers you can basically let them carry you while you spam damage. Playing melee or healer without friend(s) can be frustrating otherwise when bad timing/position gets them killed nearly instantly or you the healer is getting quashed by a rogue while your melee doesnt notice.

  4. I'll talk about BG, this does NOT count for arena (and rather not for 1v1).

Fun and easy classes to play in bg:

retri pala - high dmg output, utility, handy stun, AoE divine storm, massive judgm dmg
Hunter - common on top of dps meters, big range, enornous chimera/kill shot crits, healing reduction, some utility like "buble" and "jump"
ele shaman - funny and nice, chain lighting every few seconds, Thunderstorm can knock people off the map, nice lava storm crits every few seconds
destro lock - nice crit every few seconds with chaos bolt, fear and aoe fear, aoe stun in nice area, very annoying

As someone mentioned, shadow priest is quite easy (in bg), but i don't like the idea of just dotting everyone all the time. Not so fun for me.

I'd give honorable mention to rogue - they are not great in big fights where a lot of wars/pals/dk fighting, but You have stealth - You can pick Your pray. It never gets old to play as a sub rogue with ninja-like teleport and hitting ambush. Dmg is so massive that 100% of pve (maybe not tanks) and many even middle geared pvp players can be dead after ambush+backstab+evi combo. Its not best tactic of course for everyone, but satisfying af in bg/world pvp ^^ It may not be good for Your team in bg tho, after all its all about objective with little add of mass fights. taking down enemy healer may be great tho

  5. Why people keep mentioning rets? Rets can be easy to just do something but are one of the harderst classes to master especially undergeared. If you donate full bis then every class can be "easy" yes, but if you want to be effective and have fun with less gear I would advise the following:

    1. Ele shamman: Good range, high burst, good heals, easy peel. By far the easiest imo and one of the most effective.
    2. Frost mage: Just op(hard to master but far easier than any melee to play in bgs).
    3. Moonkin: Horrible for 1v1 vs any skilled player but op and very usefull in bgs.
    4. Hunter: Biggest range in the game, high burst and low threshold to be effective(takes a lot to master though). Lack of selfheals can be frustrating.
    5. Destro/Affli lock: Destro lock is very good in bgs and 1v1s but its not very fun imo. Affli on the other hand is godlike for bgs, you rack up the most dmg easily, but suffers 1v1 vs almost everything except moonkins or healers lol:P. Locks are easy to play but you will get two shot by any shadowmourne wielder.

If you want to have fun stay away from melees and healers unless you want to invest heavily both in time and maybe money.

  6. You really should try out a few classes on Blackrock. At least try one from each of the following categories: melee, range, and stealth. Each of the aforementioned category requires a different play style that may or may not suit you. I prefer melee so I have my biases: I believe ret and BG are made for each other. All the stuff they don't let you use in arena (nitro boost, bombs, healing injector, free action potion, lay on hands) really turns ret into something quite different. But I'm sure you can make a similar argument for other classes/specs.

Also, keep in mind that even among different melee classes, the play style can vary. I find it best to play ret in a more defensive manner (much like a front line assassin). If you charge in like a warrior you will get owned and you really need to pay attention to where you stand, and try to predict which way the battlefield is shifting (know when and where to push, and when to retreat). If you get caught without any support, unlike DKs, casters will nuke you down in a hurry. Oh, and save your wings for situations where it can really make a difference. Don't waste it on the first pleb you see.

One final thing: I disagree with Greedman45's claim about ret's dependency on gear. My experience is that ret is no more gear dependent than other classes. Not by much anyway. I play 7 rets ranging from 4k to over 6k gs, and I enjoy playing on all of them. You just have to be aware of your capabilities and limitations, and switch to support mode if necessary (eg, babysit a warrior, be a cleanse bot for someone fighting a DK/mage).

What you just described about rets is how a good ret plays:P. Thats not easy by any means for 90% of the rets out there. Hence my suggestions.

But the sad reality is vs most other players you dont have to play well. People for the most part are simple really bad at PVP and popping wings+HOJ will work vast mojority of time. For example if you pop wings vs spriest 9 of 10 of them will dispersion you wings and you get free kill.

Wat...? Someone has to be completely new in order for that to happen, and even then your damage is reduced by almost a half. Spriest has to be really low on HP or low geared to die from that in dispersion.

  10. Ele shaman, destro lock and mm/bm hunter have really strong dmg and can kite well while not needing that much to play
******ins, Uh DKs are also strong and very forgiving

  11. Ele is not easy at all. If you say it is you either played Ele in only PVE enviroment or never played it at competitive level. These kind of c omments are obviously made from butthurt Pallies that got roflstomped by them. May that occurrence never stop
As fo you choice consider the thing that someone already mentioned. Basic categories of classess :Ranged, Melee, Heal, Stealth and pick according with you level of comfort to their resepctivel playstyle.
