WotLK Transmogs and Faction Changes

When you faction change does your gear keep its current transmog? I am using the Grand Marshall's transmog as a human warr and am considering race changing to Orc.

once you get it transmogged, the appearance should stay even through faction change (My QD was transmogged into Claymore of the Prophet and stayed the same when I switched, even though the Claymore itself turned into the Sin'dorei greatsword-thing).

Tmog should stay in place.

yes transmogs stay in place but some actual gear changes when you faction change.

Used horde 60 pvp bow as mog, changed to ally and still have horde bow. So confirmed?
