I know I should have used 2fa, but it's too late for that now. someone hacked my account and took all of my gold. there was plenty, over 200k combined on all chars and they took my primals and expensive items i was trading like lightwave leggings etc.
Is there anything that can be done now about it?

You can do that, but don't get your hopes up, you wont get anything back no matter what. If you had site and ingmae 2fa enabled and you were "actually" hacked then maybe.

making a ticket is a waste of staff's time. their terms of service is clear about such things.

It's not a waste of time, that's a legit ticket.
Even more so if they used your account to advertise too which is perma ban.
I'm speaking from experience, made a ticket to report that I wasn't advertising, didn't even mention the lost gold which I was surprised to get back as a bonus.
Maybe depends on circumstances but OP can still try.
