Hello,
I wanted to finish my last quest to get the Brewfest achievement today on Icecrown, but when I logged on I realised that the event ended 1 (or even 2) days early, and the NPCs are gone, and the tokes have been wiped from my inventory.
Does anyone know why that happened?
If I refer to the forum post by Mercy: http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=378171, the event was supposed to begin on Sept 19, 11PM Server time, and last 15 days, which would have been Oct 4, 11PM Server time, but instead, I logged in on the 4th at around 12:20 AM Server time, and the event was already gone, robbing me from my achievement.
If I refer to what the post above said, this should still be ongoing for the rest of the day, but it instead ended 1 day earlier, and if I refer to the ingame calendar it should end tomorrow (Monday the 5th) in which case it actually ended almost 2 days earlier than indicated?!
I really believe that this is not my mistake and that i should not have to wait 1 more year to be able to finish the Achievement because of the event calendar being incorrect.
I would be happy to hear other people's input on this too, and perhaps someone from the Staff too?
From what I could tell when i logged on, there were MANY people that were still looking for the NPCs that were supposed to be still there.
I submitted a ticket on this too, I hope this gets looked at.

Why did you end Brewfest early? It was supposed to end tomorrow night and now you ended it a day too soon and deleted all tokens? I needed the time to finish some achievments? WHY?????

Similar thing happened last year with some other event, I don't recall which one exactly. Nothing came of it and the event wasn't put up back again.

they reactivated it now but still lost 75 tokens i needed to buy my last set item. any way to re add the lost tokens?

So i lost 195 tokens on 3 characters, 1 god damn day before this ends. Any GMS able to restore this?>?? or do i have to wait another year for this.

The Event is back but the tokens are gone which me and i guess a lot of us farmed last two weeks :(

It has indeed ended prematurely. We are looking into how to compensate and if it is even possible to compensate lost tokens.

Apparently the tokens have vanished to all characters who logged this night because half of the chars i didnt log with still have their tokens and my 3 main chars all had 400+ tokens all gone. Happened to my friend's account too, half of the chars had no tokens and were ones he played with this night. What i would suggest is do a rollback on the chars who logged during that time.
