WotLK Can't play the game

Hello.

Several months back (3-5) I stopped playing, and now I'm coming back. However, I can't stay in the game. It disconnects me every 30ish seconds, and when I log back in, it blocks me with the message "a character with that name already exists" for a few tries until it lets me in, just to kick me out again. What's this about? I've read about the error in the net, said to log out completely off the realm and restart the client. Did that, nothing happened. Any advice?

"a character with that name already exists" is because you got recently DC, so your character is still "online" till the game notices you are off.

So, your problem is the disconnect that occurs every 30 sec.
Try to disable all of your addons
