Which realm should we choose?

1 Hello. My brother and I have been playing on warmane for a couple months so far on Lordaeron. I have reached lvl 40 content alone, and together we are doing PvE content until lvl 30 (dungeons and quest, with the random pvp on the roads). We choose lordaeron for the X1 exp, gold blizzlike experience. We want to try PvP content now (arenas and Battlegrounds), but i have questions about our realm choice

Blackrock is the obviuos choice, but i dont like the instant 80 idea. The maximum lvl I personally have reached in WoW is 60, and thats because i want to try DK. We want to change our class so having every skill available from the start can be overwhelming, so not here

Lordaeron seems reasonable, we dont care practicing on warsong blood gulch for a few months from lvl 15

Frostmourne seems interesting, but we probably will wait to have more experience and a reset of the season to actually enjoy the full experience

Icecrown seems ok, but maybe the X7 experience can backfire us. I dont know if we will lvl up too fast in the battlegrounds betwen tiers(we will only engage at lvls 17-27-37-etc to not be crushed just for lvl), i think player kills do give experience as well as winning. We want to play at least 3-5 battlegrouds of a lvl tier before advancing for practice.

So wich one would you suggest? we wont use cash for gear and we want to advance progressivly througth the battlegrounds so we actually learn what are we doing

2 Another topic, at what lvls can we join on arenas 2 vs 2?

3 Finally, EVERY dungeon on lordaeron have difficulty increased, or just the raids at the end?

Well, you either do the x1 thing on Lordaeron, or skip to the end and be overwhelmed; x7 rates will do just that

Let me be honest with you,

It does not matter what server you pick for pvp..... Every server gets thrown in the same bg que.... So if you playing on a non donor x1 server and took all that time to level up and get your starter pvp gear... You will que into people from blackrock that have never played theirs class and have **** all messed up in spec and in gear simply for the fact that have vendors standing in a line.... along with you will have every baught and paid for SM melee wielder still 1 taping you till you get going.

If you play on the x1 server and bg from lvl 10 on up... The only people playing bgs at that point "most ot the time" are bis twink brackets of the 9s (19,29,39,49,59...) that will one shot you anyway.

Pvp from my point of view,

play the server you enjoy, learn as you go, and dont worry to much about fair....as its warmane... if you want fair, wait till blizzard release wotlk so that you can have what was suppose to be not "as intended"...unless you breaking out your credit card.

PvP takes dedication and time to be good at it, Keep your spirit up and you will make it, Take pvp to much to heart and you will either stop playing, or end up breaking out your credit card as most people tend to do to buy themself "equal footing"


For myself it always has been and always will be the reason I play wow 3.3.5 is for the pvp that does not hold your hand and makes you earn ever damn step of the way. ICC buffs was the start of baby hand holding wow....PvP is an icy cold *****... that will chew you up and spit you out if you not ready for the full ride!
