What hunter geat would you buy first with coins ?

Hello guys,

I have a few coins and can buy about 3 items with it. I already bought Falin'Rush defender of Quel'Thalas (bis ranged weapon). What else could be a good buy ? I just don't want to buy things that would be easy to get. I know Sharpened twilight scale has a lot of competition to get it, so I was thinking about this one.
What else could be the 3rd one ? The bis melee weapon 284 weapon ? Or does that not make sense for a hunter.

2nd should be sts hc. Other than that it depends on what you do or plan to do. DBW is obtainable but takes a long time to drop and get. Oathbinder(polearm) is from LK but it's basically a stat stick.

Do you intend to PVP or PVE?

If you're pvping you can consider getting the wrathful shoulders, which you would normally have to get 2.2k in 3v3s to get.
If you're pveing you can consider getting that BIS weapon or a second BIS trinket, like Deathbringer's WIll HC

Considering you are talking about low geared hunter: i would go for ranged weapon (as you did already), sts hc + bis polearm from lk 25h. Even if you don't actually attack with it it's a great GS/ STATS boost, and most likely you won't get to face lk on 25hc before you hit 6.2 gs or more.

Gearing for raids will mostly include you getting enough hit chance (you need 9% with 300 weapon skill at lvl 60 to hit Raid Bosses reliably) but if you aren't planning on it yet, just gather pieces as you do the dungeons. Most end game dungeons will net you some solid gear like True Shot Gloves/Shoulders.
