Cross faction Gearscore addon

Hi,

I am a programmer and interested in developing an addon for 3.3.5 Warmane which would use the Warmane Armory API to collect data on the opposing factions player Gear / Honorable kills. The idea behind this would be that to use an in game event which once the player is targeted / hovered over there would be an API call made to the warmane armory e.g. (http://armory.warmane.com/api/charac...stwolf/summary) to gather the players honorable kills / gear. The idea would then be to use the gearscore addon to calculate the players gearscore and display it. Of course there are plenty of additional ways this could be used, for example I could write code to show if the player was geared for PVP if they had a certain amount (user customizable) of PVP gear such as Wrathful Gladiator ect so the player can see if the player is primarily geared for PVP or PVE. Of course there are plenty of other ideas such as a warning if the player has Frostmourne but these were my initial ideas.

Firstly I want to know if this would be allowed under Warmanes rules?

You can't make http calls from an addon, so what you want is not possible.
