WotLK Character deleted due to inactivity

Hello, so I've recently returned to the game after not playing for about a year. First time I logged in was like 2 days ago, and all my characters were there, but today when I logged in they were gone. I didn't play on them when I logged in so they were still considered "inactive" but one of those I wished to play today...

Is there a way to get it back? I submitted an in game ticket from my level 80, and I've searched for a way to contact support but was simply unsuccessful on the warmane website. The only thing I found was ban appeal. I was told by some players that it was possible to recover.

The character was not high level but had a lot of stuff on it due to me preparing to play on it before stopping due to personal reasons.

what realm and what was the level of your characters?
Only chaarcter between lvl 1-30 got deleted (just for not-premium accounts)
