Technical Paladin Retribution quest bugged

Hi there, I've got a 39 level paladin and I've just realised that I should have had the retribution ability since level 13, but even though I'm currently doing the second part of the Test of Righteousness quest, it seems that I didn't get the book that teaches it.

Are there any solutions for this?

Yes use the bugtracker to report the bug and with a little luck it will get prioritized and fixed fast/

Yes, I did that quest but didn't get the book from which I can learn Redemption, so I can't resurrect with my paladin.

If you talk to the guy who gave you the quest he should give you another book.

If that's not the case then open an in-game ticket. But that seems odd. I seem to recall doing this quest recently.
