Yes, and you know everything about us. Who are our friends? You know that. Our family? You know that? How we play the game. You know that.
In fact, you are the Karen, assuming you know everything about the people here and running with those assumptions, and took our kindness and understanding as negative. We took a long time with this decision and thought hard about it. We did not wake up one day and just decided to do this. In fact, you are wrong on all counts. We know players that are multiboxers, some even personally, there are even staff who have multiboxed in the past. The multiboxing was not fading, it was increasing. Since you talk so much about revenue, thinking like we're a Fortune 500 company, not a bunch of people running servers from home like we are, this decision will impact us negatively and yet we still did it.
It is your choice to assume, but it takes a Karen to take their assumptions and take them to be true and complain like they own the place. Just saying.
Where exactly are you going with this?
Will this change affect only PvP or player interactions? It will be so annoying logging transmute DKs only 5 characters at a time :(((
Also what about AH alts? I have 5 windows camping AH with an addon setup that looks like the console of a plane are those prohibited too? How is the system gonna work? When I have my 5 windows at AH and log my main account to go raid, do I get instabanned for "abuse" or some stuff or will just one window randomly disconnect?
So many questions.
Just to be a devils advocate here.
How are large BG premades still allowed when multiboxing is limited to 5 characters?
Last 20 bg I played every single one of them had large premade with 10-30 players who farm graveyards.
Players who never multiboxed who talk and complain about multiboxing are the same as 1400 rated players who complain about warpal or scripts in 2s.
Both are delusional.
good news thanks staft warmane it's a good start to improve wpvp. I am also multiboxing with 25 toons but my question is the limit in general? Because I like multiboxing I see that the problem is only in wintergrasp (I don't like to camp outside of icc or the players in general) I only became multiboxing to fight the mb of the horde. Now my opinion would be that only in wintergrasp a limit is put on the mb, since and some mb are dedicated to the pve as I am doing in these last days. Thank you, I await your response and greetings.
Thank you so much for listening to the legit and honest players.
This is indeed, like someone said, a glorious day for this server.
Your decision was based on the mistake you made and the problem you created. Boxers had a hierarchy before this change. It was about 10-15 people. The others looked at them as examples, saw them as threats and reconsidered their proportional time investment, versus a boxer's seniority on the realm. Alot of the people who approached me, simply gave up on the idea of boxing, because they noticed an astonishing time investment. They knew they couldn't compete, they knew if they began, they would be hated and despised, and they simply backed away and played the game as intended.
When these changes hit, I warned you people, the coordination would go through the roof, wintergrasp would become even more populated than before, and the even ground would just create MORE competition. Unlike you people, I saw this coming. I argued this was coming, and I was ignored. So, forgive me for being a bit blunt with you people.
As for knowing you? having a history helps with knowing an organization of people. You guys have a history, and unfortunately, I know a bit more than most, because as I mentioned before, this and another server, colluded before. Not sure why this idea is still being ignored, because we contributed to your WOTLK servers very briefly, then got cut off with short notice.
Obviously though, I could be wrong. Maybe your hypothesis that technology has accelerated too quickly, which is what caused this issue in the first place. I would agree with you, if not for the idea that, when given an EQUAL playing field, you invite MORE competition. This was your mistake, and from what I'm seeing in previous posts, it's a pretty big one. I imagined something less, but for people to be completely locked out of wintergrasp? That's a step even I didn't see coming.
It sucks you guys took this direction, but these are the results. Now, you're going to limit people to 5. Watch what happens. If I may give some advice though: Next time you make a decision? Consult the community you are affecting most. It's hard to understand something you don't actively do or deeply involve yourself with on a daily basis. This chaos could've been avoided otherwise.
For the record: I am completely excluding Mercy from "You people". That person is far too rational. I'll always have respect for that person. It's hard not to.
Something like this was discussed in the first limitation. It's a no. You're evil, regardless of what you say you do. They know better. You're only here to harvest gold and kill lowbies so they quit. Stop ruining the server.
You, obviously, never learned that this limitation actually makes boxers more lethal. The less baggage you carry, the more you can throw. I mean, unless you found some newbie to pick on and you're excited to gank. You have no idea what's coming now.

The community affected the most? you mean the 99% of players who do not multibox? They are happy as hell and totally support this decision, but thank you for the interest.
What will happen? More fairness, less cheating, nobody will cry for multiboxers nostalgia, this is what will happen.
Nah, you're mistaken. I saw it coming as well. I saw it a mile away that some multiboxers would "take revenge" by "making things worse." I saw what's happening now coming as well. Well, almost. When I commented about it with other Moderators, I said it should just lead to multiboxing being removed fully, not limited to five. So, it's because I saw it coming that I tell you that you and your peers' who decided to be petty about that limitation and have an attitude about it influenced (at least to some extent) what's happening now.
The decision had to be implemented immediately, due to a select group of multiboxers who made it their task today to lag the realm. The main post was updated.
With all due respect, this is exactly what I was talking about.
I wish you a prosperous future and the best of luck in your future endeavors!
P.S. I do not expect a reply to this post.

I finally see this happening. No more SW camp, no more 1 shot in WG or world pvp. Less AH monopoly, we will finally have a better economy. Blizzard recently banned MBoxers due to the economy of their servers. Ordinary players struggle more to gather herbs/mines to sell for cheaper due to mboxers. I think it's a good change here even if the change came later. Better than never! Less lag in bgs/realms also. Some MBoxers will say: hey but we donated on 25 accounts, yes, most of you donated minimum just to skip queue but because of you, others don't play here and so they don't donate. The reign is over and we will have a better and wealthy community!
Logging 100 accounts 5 at a time is not a problem at all.
No. Blizzard never banned MBoxers and there is still a lot of MBoxing in retail.
What Blizzard did was to ban Input Broadcasting. See it here:
https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/ne...sting-software
Therefore ISBoxer has changed its program so multiboxers still can play. The program they are using now is called Joe Multiboxer and is not using input broadcasting (it is here: https://joemultiboxer.com/), so there is still a lot of MBoxing in retail and it is not banable.
Multiboxing is just the fact of been logged in and playing more than one account at the time. When I log on two of my accounts to boost one of my low level in some dungeons, I am multiboxing (even though I move them manually).
Multiboxing has never been banable by blizzard and use of 20 or 30 accounts using an addon not using input broadcasting is perfectly okay.
