WotLK Cant leave party or join a party

Hey guys, after teleporting out of a dungeon that was looking for a heals (heals left) i cant seem to join a group, leave a group or RDF
I have the dmg icon above my characters icon
I cant leave the group (there is no option in the character icon drop down menu)
I cant /group or /leave group as the game thinks i am not in a party?
But it thinks im in a party when i RDF (One or more players is disconnected or not accepted the role check)
All my other chars are fine
If i enter an instance and leave again i just get teleported to the last location (back to where i was when i teleported intially into the dungeon)
Ive submitted a ticket but would love any advise as to what to do now.
yes ive tried dying and the option to reset instances is grayed out and i changing the difficulting or size of raid/dungeon doesnt do anything
