URGENT:Impossible to launch the game/mac

Hello,

i ve got a problem with warmane wow :
without any particular event on my side the game no longer starts on mac and displays the following message since last week :

"Unable to validate game version. This may be caused by file corruption or the interference of another program."

My game version has not changed... 3.3.5 (12340) (installed from website)
set realmlist logon.warmane.com is well taken into account.

In any case I reinstalled the game by following Warmane website procedure (https://www.warmane.com/download) and always the same problem.

I am on MacOS HighSierra 10.13.6 on a 2012 Macbook Pro

I haven't updated since I last tried to log in which was around November of 2020.

If you have any suggestions i'd be willing to try them out! Thanks for taking an interest in my issue.

Hey Skullatbash I finally came back to give this another try because of the Frostmourne launch, but just to be clear I can play on other WotLK servers just fine, it's only Warmane that gives me this error. I have been playing on other servers for awhile now but I really want to get back into Warmane but it just wont work and gives me this same error "unable to validate game version" even though on other servers it works just fine.

Any other ideas or tips on how to proceed?

you have just x1 client and you changed realmlist to play on warmane?

Or you are having that problem by using the client downloaded from here? https://www.warmane.com/download

That is the same file that I have downloaded, I could try retorrenting the file but I have gotten busted for torrenting on my home internet so I am wary of doing that again. The client I have worked for about four years before it started this issue and then started doing this ONLY with warmane, no other wotlk servers have this issue.

I really don't know how it's possible that it works with other servers and does this only with Warmane which is why im so confused as to how to start fixing this issue, any other ideas?

Would be great if a GM could just confirm if there's really a server side issue or not

Edit: Nvm, redownloaded from warmane link and actually got in. No changes necessary for me.

A little tip! Not sure how MACS work regarding folders and such, but each time you switch between servers make sure you delete Catche, WTF and addons fodler completely
