Hey,
i figured out how to play the 32bit on your 64bit MacOS without buying Crossover. It is possible to Wrap the game into a Wineskin Wrapper. Later on the Admins could host the wrapped game for macOS Catalina and above.
Requirements:
- macOS Catalina or newer
- Wrath of the Lich King (Windows)
My tutorial is tested on my Macbook Pro Mid 2012.
Steps:
1. Restart your Mac.
2. Hit CMD+R on start up to get into recovery mode. (Could differ on newer Macs)
3. Go to Utilities -> Terminal
4. Type "csrutil disable" without quotes. It will disable SIP (

5. Restart your Mac and boot normally.
6. Download Winery and extract it in your Programs Folder.

7. Start Winery.

10. Click "Download & Install". Close this window after installation.
11. Update to newest Wineskin version
12. Click "Create New Blank Wrapper".
13. Call it "World of Warcraft" or like you want.
14. Choose "Move Folder" to move installation files to the wrapper.
15. Select the WoW - Wotlk Windows Version Folder.
16. Select the "Wow.exe" as executable.
17. The wrapped game is in %USERNAME%/Applications/Wineskin/
DONE!
Hit CMD + Space and type "World of Warcraft". Hinter Enter and have fun.
You can edit the game files with right click on the wrapper and open content -> drive_c.
