Technical Authenticator?

I am new to Warmane and recently downloaded the client/launcher eariler today for the first time. I made sure the realmlist was set right and everything. But I go to log in for the first time, it has a box where i'm supposed to put in an authenticator code in order to log in. Did I download it wrong or do something else wrong or somethiing? How would one fix this issue? Thanks :)

you can check your setting about 2-Step authentication (so, check if the code is sent to your mail address or via google app)

That said, you can remove the 2-step "in-game" by removing "Enable in-game protection "
