1. Help with Account Theft.

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me. I live in a shared house with more students ,I left my computer on and someone changed my account email and password and also disabled two-step authentication.

I managed to get my account back, but my characters have been deleted.

In the account I have two lvl80 characters, a dudu 5k GS and a magician 1.8k GS,.

UPDATE: I have moved to another room and I have put a lock to avoid other problems. I already have my dudu again (THX GM'S), the only problem is that they deleted EVERYTHING, the dudu does not have any equipment, I have tried to recover it from the vendors, but it is not there, I think they deleted it one by one with "delete" there is a way to recover something?

My Druid currently lives in Ironforge, he's naked and it's cold! :P!

Hopefully you can help me, Thank you very much for your time and patience, you are a great team.

  2. Nothing that can be done. Your account security is your responsibility. You won't get any gear back.

  3. Thank you very much for the quick answer. I understand what you say and in part I agree.

But I think that for people who contribute to the server (no matter the amount) an exception could be made, if not, we help the server but when we need to receive help, we do not receive it.

I don't want to say that paying you entitle you to a special treatment, there are many players here, but there are cases in which you can't do anything, I haven't left my account to anyone, and I had all the security activated, but I live in a flat of students if someone enters my room with bad intentions when I'm not ... I can't do anything.

What I have learned is, not to fight more with other people to see which server is better, to defend my opinion this unpleasant person has "stolen" one of my favorite hobbies.

    Greetings to all.

  4. Hey hey, you left yourself open. You had all the security, except for the most important one - actual physical access. It's like you build an impenetrable castle, then let the enemy straight trough the front gate, opened door and rolled rug out for them. What you tripping about "I can't do anything"? You could, but it's done, now you can make sure that won't happen again, like you did with setting up a lock on your room. Consider yourself lucky that it was just "some pixels in some game", instead of access to your finances and such(change all your passwords, I'm sure you already did).

Recover items you bought for Coins.

Hahahahahahaha, what a good comment ahahahaha. +1

Exactly, my room was like the death star from star wars. Obviously, what happened is my fault.

And yes, all my passwords have been changed, luckily and as you say, this is a game, it could have been worse if they entered my Paypal.

If the GMs can and want to help me, I will appreciate it, if not, I will just continue to play normally.

  6. As angrylol said, only coin items may be returned to you. That's where staff's help ends.

For the future I recommend you to lock your PC whenever you leave it. Also you could ask your room"mates" for compensation. While at it, I recommend scanning and inspecting your PC in case of further tampering.

Yes it was and you learned basic, very valuable lesson. What did you expect - - - in student dorms?

Yup, while I lived in dorms we did everything to eachoethers pcs, keyloggers were the tamest things. I got fed up backuping and cleaning it from all the crap - took out my CPU and carried it with me lmao. Even then someone had same socket and messed my stuff up, "just because lols".
