A friend of mine got banned recently for advertising. He said to me that he was just spamming something about our guild in global chat. Is there anyway for him to appeal the ban? Or at least to know the exact message he wrote and got him banned? Thanks

Guild spam in global chat is against rules. GM must've noticed his "efforts" and gave prooer reward...
OR! it could be that your friend used VPN and thus got banned due to majority of free VPN servers being used for different advertisings.

This is only bannable if he's flooding the chat with multiple characters. Otherwise it's fine. The VPN story is more likely.
