WotLK Can't log into server...

Can't log into server...
Just got the WotLK client downloaded, verified realm list, opened firewall for exception, restarted computer and yet still can not log into the game client to create a character.
Is there a temporary freeze on new accounts for a few days or whatnot? Any other ideas to try?

Follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"

Just deleted everything and re downloading entire client again. Will advise.

Up and running. Fresh DL of client and restart seamed to have fixed it. Internet has been spotty here today so possible loss on original DL.
