Technical Not being able to use windowed mode in the WOTLK version

When i try to use windowed mode, my screen turns black. It only goes away when i press escape. Really annoying when i want to use a browser for example. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

Hey,

I'd like to play in fullscreen mode (where I can adjust the brightness level) without the game crashing onto the taskbar and then only being able to turn off the game with Task Manager. Is there a solution?
