WotLK Quest Helper issue

So I have downloaded multiple version of quest helper 3.3.5 from different sources and every time I load up the game it says I'm using 1.4.1

Any idea as to why that is?

1.4.1 refers to "addon version" (not game version).

so do not worry, your version is the correct one for 3.3.5 patch

Ahh! Okay but that still doesn't solve the issue of it just not working and it wanting to be updated. Could it be because I'm using this?

I have downloaded it from here: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addon...020709689%3A98 and it works fine.
Try to download it from there as well.

(I am not using those "Ultimate WotLK Graphics Boost" patches, but I do not know if it matters)

Yes this can cause the problem, depending on how you installed it:

You have to make sure that you delete the whole folders Interface\Addons\Mapster and WDM in your game client and that you put the files new files from this patch there. Overwriting them is not enough!

Afterwards it will work.
