I know that topic have been done a million time but i just want to bring a new aspect to it.
I am from Lordaredon and everytime i solo queue , before the gate even people I always receive comment about I shouldnt queue in solo queue, or to go kill myself ... When i tried to bring that to a GM they just told me to put them on ignore .... yeah like i could put player from Blackcock on my ignore list .....
Our server is becoming harder and harder , getting so hard now to get new gear for the new players. When Blackrock start full relentless head to toes (weapon included and that is impossible for us to get) plus have access for free any pve item lv 258 and below.
Nobody is happy with the Lordaredon situation .... Blackrock dont want to see us in their arena queue , and we are really unhappy to see them as well ....
I think the best soltution would be to EVERYONE from Lordaredon to queue in solo queue to piss them off. Maybe if more people complain , it would be addressed.

That could work, but that wont address the problem much. I am pretty sure a lot of people get those kind of msg. I am 7-7 on my paly and 8-14 on my lock. Since i am undergeared vs those other server i think i am doing decently.
I am not throwing any game away and always try my best to win. But if it can pissed those player off , then i hope more people from lord queue in lord even if it s just to get their 10 games for arena point

Are all the servers connected into 1 battlegroup in arena/BGs/RBGs?

To be honest it is quite frustrating to get queued up with people whose gear is of lower quality than atleast full Relentless Gladiator Set and itemlevel 251 weapons. Atleast have the decency to farm gear of the same level than the gear that people have on Blackrock as starter gear. Otherwise you just put your team in the disadvantage and that's what gets people mad. Doesn't justify the toxicity of the people tho...
Just do some 2s or 3s weekly cap a couple of weeks to get some gear before you start in Soloque. And then people will maybe not be judging you from the get go but show their toxicity when you lose :')

You know - for lordaeron your requirements are basically half a year of 10 games/week + at least icc10 pve gear. That's quite a high bar to set when you have a full server getting those items for free on character creation.
The main issue is simple: Mixing a free 80 + 251 gear realm with an actual non-cashshop realm doesn't go well. But pvp on lordaeron was literally dead before crossrealm became a thing (and it's still quite a meme to do, but that's another story). So it's choosing between one bad choice and another even worse.

You can get 1 item of Relentless Gladiator set every 2 weeks so that's not exactly half a year. Especially if you - as the OP mentioned - are not super trash and are able to actually climb a little in ratings which is until 1600/1700 easy possible without needing top tier gear. Also gearing up the Offparts or Furious gear is super fast if you do Wintergrasp regularely (~10-15k honor per BG, additionally the Weeklys). Not taking into account that with a little bit of luck in VOA 10/25 your gearing process can also be speed up. Only weapons will remain an issue because you will have to do some proper PvE for them.
On the other issue I feel the same like you do. It's not really fair the way it is right now, but I personally prefer having decent invites with higher geared players than not having invites at all (or atleast super slow ones).
I play on Lordaeron and sometimes it can be quite frustrating to face BiS teams all the times (at certain ratings you just do) while having itemlevel 264 PvP Weapons yourself and not the perfect hc offparts. You are kinda limited then, especially if you also play horde where decent PvP players are more rare than meeting friendly faces in Soloque.

I do solo queue with my paly and lock.
My lock is all relentless, wrathful glove and pant, but a weapon 245(ony), i did ICC (we are talking over 5 month) and the only thing i won so far until 2 weak ago was a necklace. Someone let me have the cloth piece from gunship (druid) because he already won 3 item on the run, and i think he felt bad of winning something else .....
My paly is 3wrathful/2 relentless but with a 232 weapon. I am kinda done with ICC and only 150arena rating pts away from my weapon. That paly was doing ICC as a tank.
And still getting the comment to go kill myself .... i dont really care about those emo teen, but i still think black with free relentless weapon , (something we cannot even get on Lord) and 258pve weapon right on creation is kinda non sense.
I m less piss at the people of icecrown that bought their shadowmourne.
