WotLK Question about Ghostly Spotted White Cat

I'm sure some of you are familiar with Ghostly Spotted White Cat that spawns in Ruins of Mathystra in Darkshore when clicking on small cat figurines.
I used to play with that pet a lot back in WotLK days. I started playing here yesterday and wanted to get one, but unfortunately it did not spawn.
Collected like 20 figures, no luck yet. I wonder if anyone else attempted on this. Or Is it simply not scripted?
Since the figures are there, I expected it to spawn but, no.
I hope I did not waste that much time.

There are several figurines, but only one of them makes the cat spawn: https://aowow.trinitycore.info/?object=13873



That figurine takes two hours to respawn, so if you loot it make sure to be ready beforehand. If it's not there when you arrive it's because someone else looted it.

I can confirm that this post is still relevant. I Tamed one yesterday using it. It was very frustrating to spend 3 hours gathering 100+ trash cat figurines without a single spawn. I asked around and no one knew anything, I assumed that Warmane had deleted it to save on space or stop a bug or something. I was eventually directed to this post, which is the only post I can find commenting on this. Googling it would not produce this post. I hope I can bring it to light by resurrecting it. So thank you Shred for helping us out! I'll file a bug report after this post and see if we can get it fixed.

For those using Tomtom or other map coordinate addons, it's at 57, 21.

The picture was super helpful and I found it pretty quickly but the coordinates should help even more. I can confirm that none of the other statues will spawn the saber, I spent hours picking them over and over. Somehow this one missed my gaze. There might be another I missed that works also, but I'm pretty sure this is the only one. As an added bonus, it spawns EVERY time. I tested this by camping it and killing the saber 4 times in a row. The kill dropped a glowing figurine every time (can only have one in bags at a time). I can also confirm that the respawn timer for the statue is 2 hours. The other statues I looted would respawn in exactly 3 minutes, but never delivered anything other than the grey figurines. This was done on Icecrown realm on 5/1/2026.

The glowing figurine is a one-time use item that summons a cat to fight for you. Good luck and have fun on the best expac WOW ever made!
