WotLK Characters on account gone

Hello, 2 of my blood elf characters are gone.
They appear in my account, but when I want to login with one then it says: "login failed"
You don't see their names, but I think I named one Benzington and the other Punkhoofd or merlinx or something.
A lvl 34 mage and a 55 warlock.
Hope u can solve it for me and otherwise it is a unfortunate loss.
