1. Making gold the easy way

Ok, now that I got your attention: bruh. This has been happening a lot lately.
If you created/obtained X and calculated it's profitable*(1) for you at price 1000g. You come up to the AH and see everyone selling it for 1800g or more, please, for the love of god, post it for like 1700, 1750, whatever, it'll still sell. I'm fine with undercutting*(2), I do it to others, they do it to me, but don't tank the price so others start undercutting even more. This way you didn't just make what you originally intended, but more, simple. *(3)

So, bottom line: You're selling a thing for 1000, you come up to the AH and see it's selling for 1800? What price do you put in? 1750, that's right, not 1000.

*(1) - You had 5000g before obtaining X, you obtained X and by selling it you will have more than 5000g.
*(2) - The act of posting an auction slightly lower than the next lowest offer so it shows up first when people sort by lowest price.
*(3) - Well, if someone just posted one Primordial Saronite for 30k, then you probably shouldn't post yours for 29950 cause nobody in their right mind would buy it. This logic doesn't apply to insane cases such as these.

  2. Nobody can crash the market by just undercutting with a few stacks. If you post anything at 50% or less it gets immediately bought up if that item is in demand. The only way to significantly affect a price is to post many stacks of something (like 20+ stacks) and even then the price will bounce back in a few days when that supply gets used up unless its being posted by a bot that keeps farming without interruptions.

I once wanted to try to manipulate the market of medium leather for a bit. Saw it was selling for under 40g per stack so I bought everything up bellow 100g per stack and reposted it. It didn't take even an hour for someone to dump 10 stacks of medium leather on the AH for 50g per stack so I gave up and didn't try that again. :D
