Anyway to get into BGs with a low gearscore?

It took my a while to realize that BG queues are based on gear. On my 4.7k gearscore rogue I get 1-2 minute queue times. On my 3k gearscore mage I was in queue for 2 hours before giving up. How do I play BGs on my lower geared toon? I don't care if I get destroyed, the game doesn't need to cater to me. I just want to play :(

Buy high quality gear on AH to boost up your ilevel.
You probably can't find BGs now because not many people are leveling on normal servers / stay in low que for long and idk if Frostmourne has crossrealm BGs enabled already.

If you're Alliance you have to turn on mercenary mode when you have **** gear. I had no problems getting into bgs on my orc rogue with 3k gs. But you should probably wait until your gear is better to do battlegrounds anyway. I was just a stun bot for other Horde players cause I couldn't even damage the pvp geared Alliance players on my own.
