they ruin the battleground balance with their full pvp set and double deaths verdict and they match against fresh lvl 80's from icecrown most of the time anyway. not only that but they are a majority of the time alliance aswell so horde loses by default low brackets. you could also force mercenary mode on them, they have absolutly everything for free from the start vs horde players in greens. this is madness
I read a post about adding a cross realm pvp option that could be activated or not. Sadly, there was no suite to that post.
Forcing them to play against 5k8 gs player seems like an other good solution for me. There is not BG were I can't find less then 50% of blackrock players, and when this happens they meanly play rogues to bully 3k or less gearscored players, which as my perspective (a healer) and a low geared player perspective is not funny at all.
I know that there is a gearscore filtering system in lordearon. Why not in icecrown ?
it doesnt matter what you do to deal with gear disparity, the problem is in the wotlk roots
gear in this expansion will never be fair, its designed for people who raid or do rated arenas to have the upper hand on lower geared players
the only way to fix gearing issues in wotlk would be by porting mop/wod gearing system on the fully progressed realms
making relentless accessible through honor, removing arena rating requirements from wrath set pieces and disabling pve trinkets proc and legendaries procs in bgs and arena
i really like how dynamic brackets works, its probably the best feature ive ever seen in 10 years playing wotlk servers
but the issue is that it doesnt feel like proper endgame, it feels like im playing a gimped 79 twink, because the stats scaling and builds in 3.3 where designed around ilevel 264+ items, classes are not getting as much crit or haste as they need for the build to work properly, season 8 and icc gear is preferable
its not that i like playing on the lower bracket, i like not being gy camped by guilds full of platers with pocket healers
but i also like having crit on my rogue you know, or having enough mana sustain on my druid to sustain shapeshifting as intended
