WotLK Can't log in past Realm Selection

After "Succes!" and then "Logging in to game server" game just keeps going back to Realm Selection.
So far I tried router reboot and checking realmlist if it's properly set to " set realmlist logon.warmane.com " (and it was)
Any help?

Follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"

if it does not help, try to connect with your smartphone's connection

Nope, no luck.
Also, the way I suddenly lost connection in the middle of playing was kinda weird.

you can reach character selection screen?
so, you have problem when attempting to log a specific character?

if that is your case, disable all of your addons before to log with a character

No, I can only reach *Realm* selection, not character selection.
I just noted, that I already were logged in, and was playing, when I lost connection. And now I have this issue.

use a vpn, preferably to UK, worked for me just fine

So, after nothing worked, I just left the game alone for the night, because I read other posts on this forum, where people had similar problem (some of these posts are pretty old, like 2017, so I don't think it's related to *current world events*). According to them, just waiting fixed the problem.
And so it did for me. So I'd say the issue is resolved. Still, wonder what was the reason, server side issues?
