WotLK Game crashes when i change resolution

I just recently got a new computer and downloaded the WOTLK client. Every time that I try to change the resolution off the default the game stops responding and all i get is game sound.

Have i just had bad luck and downloaded a corrupt client and i gotta re-download?

I got it figured out. You have to go to the WTF file and add these lines into the Config.

SET gxRefresh "144"
SET gxResolution "2560x1440"

or what ever Resolution and refresh you want.

Then

SET gxWindow "0"
SET gxMaximize "0"

but set the Numerical value to 1.

Now im able to play Full screen windowed with the right resolution.

Select realm > Currency:Points/Coins > Character restoration
You should be able to see a list of characters you can restore. (deleted in the past 30 days)
It costs 0 points/coins if done within 48 hours (but this benefit has 7 days cooldown)
