    Sound crackles. Game crashes.

Hello! I've been playing on frostmourne now for about a month. Earlier today i was doing a dungeon when i noticed the sound starting to crackle. Then i got lagspikes every 2 seconds. After that my game crashed. it now crashes every minute.

i've tried everything i can think of. The game does not use alot of resources (ram, gpu, cpu, everythings fine). No other game is behaving like this so the gfx card is fine. I've updated the drivers for the card and installed updates for windows. I've tried other versions of the 3.3.5a client and that didnt work. Other versions of WoW works fine (retail, classic, vanilla pserver). I've reinstalled the client multiple times. I've deleted the cash. I've disabled all addons. i have checked the disk it is installed on and it works fine. I'm out of ideas. Kinda sucks.

At first i got a error that stated 132 couldnt "read". That error does not pop up anymore. It just crashes.

    Best regards. Ulban

Are you getting the error in some specific place or everywhere? What error message are you getting when it crashes?

About sound crackling, maybe you have changed some sound settings recently, for example, sample rate? https://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=327476

    Hello!
The error consist anywhere. The errormessage is 132. fatal exeption. The memory could not be read. This has (as i've understood it) to do with memory allocation in wow. I've tried giving the game more memory to play with through laa but that didn't work. I've also read that it could have to do with interface addons, but i've disabled those. As for the audio the crackles are not linked to any particular sound(random), the sample rate and all audio settings has not been touched.

also (because i'm a sound nerd) the "crackling" is (i think) of an interference type. The sample of the sound is not destroyed in any way. it is as if something is interfering with the channel output. Rather than the sound itself.
