Hi, I was on a previous version of Windows (I believe it was 7, maybe 8) which WoW played perfectly on (I play on WoTLK). Then I installed Windows 10 and the game became completely unplayable.
The starting screen is literally like a PowerPoint slide, and it takes Sindragosa 12 slides before she lands; its not a smooth transition. I can eventually log in and the unbearable lag continues; with in-game data saying my fps is 1-3 and latency is 26-31ms as I'm just sat in Stars' Rest, Dragonblight.
I have installed Windows 10 before in the past and had the same issues with the game, and had to revert back to my previous OS. However this time, I kept 10 for too long and now cannot revert back, and therefore unless something changes, I will be unable to play the game again. I have tried changing the compatibility modes and it did not help.
Please 1) help me stop this lag, or 2) help me uninstall Windows 10/revert back to my previous OS (Windows 7).

yes it looks up to date, I even updated some other things too
