Hello boys, its been 8 years without playing wow, and i just connected now, and im lvl 55 on my mage and druid, why did it reset? i remember i had almost 6k gearscore on mage and almost 5,8k gearscore on druid, and both lvl 80 obviously.. why did it reset?
1. Check account history. There is no system to "regress" existing characters.
2. Check dates etc, it is possible that server you've played doesn't even exist anymore and what you have now is just basic "perk" upon restoration.
Contacting Warmane might help you a bit... But don't set expectations to high, you've abandoned your account for 8 years and now wait for treatment like member of closed VIP club?
Im just a person just like you or other people, im not better than anyone, im not waiting to be treated better than anyone, its my account , so doesn't make any sense getting a reset because i just stopped for years, i could stop for 20 years doesn't matter, its still my account, in other games you don't get reset on nothing..
im a cs player, so if i stop i will lose my 5000€ inventory? No.. soo i think you're wrong kid.
What you are saying makes no sense. Characters get removed in cleanups sometimes depending on some criteria, but you don't get your level lowered or specific pieces of gear removed. You got hacked, or you are thinking of some other server, or you are looking at the wrong realm in the character list.
I always played on icecrown, i have the account history down here... No one logged in for 8 years ... so i don't know what you talking about. i lost my lvl, and my legend stuff that i brought from points and from dungeons. everything almost i had.. So its not being hacked, since no one logged in.
and today when i logged in, it was asking me to create a new name since the last got deleted. And both characters asking the same thing, and both "reseted". There is no type of hack to do this. The thing is, if i got some type of hack would delete everything, not just some things. So as i said, im a cs player, i have there 5000€ on skins, if i stop 40 years i will have my things anyway, doesn't matter how long i stop. So i think i know what im saying.
I talked with a player right now he told me molten-wow hacked, a few years ago in 2014, and everyone lost and warmane just offered 5 80lvl ch and furious pack and a few things more.. So as you can see its not just me. Thanks for your "arrogance"
you gotta be stupid or something like that? don't act like arrogant because you're just wasting your time, its been 8 years now that warmane exists
And as u can see, on the printscreen there is my last login 7 years ago https://gyazo.com/c0a251bc0f281c6bffef5b021d2e03c7
And i talked to a player a few minutes ago, that told me someone hacked warmane years ago and everyone lost their stuff, so if u don't know what u talking about don't even answer kid.
Welp, only arrogant person here is you
Molten WoW doesn't exist. Period.
You think your 5k? inventory gonna impress someone, when from your screenshot it becomes obvious that you didn't earn it, just was spending free points.
When any online game dies/closed, you don't get something from publisher/developer, so Warmane already did much more than you could expect. And even though you've slept over your chance to use it, you still somehow got something like old copy of your account.
Next thing, you refuse to do anything, just keep crying in this thread. Did you make ticket? Have you sent mail to Warmane? Or maybe you've AT LEAST tried to read properly and realise that there is no Molten-Icecrown where you've played?)
- Late 2014, Molten got screwed over.
- Early 2015, Warmane became a thing.
- For some time in 2015, players were offered extra services to start over (points, coins, equipment sets, profession maxes..)
- After that, it's been business as usual.
- Few other realms got created, and some decommissioned. People were migrated to Icecrown (had to start it manually). TBC and Cataclysm realms were closed.
- Inactivity cleanups and gold squishes became an yearly thing. Inactive characters were set for rename, or deleted altogether, depending on time of absence and level of the characters. Each year your gold was also halved. So your dropped from 5000g to 2500g, then 1250g, and then 625g and so on.
- Besides deleting low lvl characters, no high level ones were deleted, only flagged for a rename.
- Frostmourne became a thing. It's on its 3rd season. After the seasons, all characters gets either transferred to Icecrown, which must be initiated by the player, or they get removed. You have 2 years to transfer the characters you want to Icecrown. Season 1 transfers were available until season 2 ended.
If you have "missing" characters, they are either:
a) Waiting for a rename.
b) Waiting for a transfer from Frostmourne S2 to Icecrown.
c) Deleted by a player who had access to your account.
d) Deleted as you didn't transfer your character from decommissioned realm to another.
