Ways to save game config?

Hi I just started on Warmane I played a little of classic wow but did not have the time nor wanted to pay a monthly fee to keep up with my friends. So I notice anytime I launch Warmane, I have to reapply all the settings that I previously put in, is there anyway to save these perm. Or will I have to do this everytime, also a few of the addons I downloaded don't seem to work with Warmane as well, do I have to download curse or just find the right version of said addon.

Your wow folder is likely "read-only" in properties, remove that and it will save your settings.

Addons must be specific for this old wotlk version.
